Welcome to Azuleique Azulejos

This is not a shop. Not a classroom. This is, first and foremost, our family home and working place.

Founded by architect, tile artist, and devoted mom Ana Desimone, AZULEIQUE AZULEJOS is a small studio tucked in the gentle winds of Matosinhos, Porto, dedicated to the research of portuguese tile heritage and design of author tiles.

After years of working for companies and travelling, this project was created as a bridge between professional passion and family life, allowing us to seamlessly blend one with the other. Here, mornings smell like coffee, ideas dry by the window, and our child plays while we paint. Every corner is warm, honest, real—a lived-in, loved-in home-studio.

Now, we are opening our doors to a small community of tile lovers. For that, we’ve created a tile-painting masterclass that is intentionally warm and personal, where art becomes the bridge between tradition and new friendships formed around the table of our home- studio.
